Right Sharing of World Resources Stamp Program

About the Stamp Program

First Friends is proud to host a stamp program that benefits Right Sharing of World Resources (RWSR), an independent non-for-profit Quaker organization sharing the abundance of God’s love by working for equity through partnerships around the world.

People around the world send in stamps to First Friends, which the $tamping for Dollar$ team trims, sorts, and sells to collectors and dealers. The proceeds are sent to RSWR. RSWR makes grants to groups of marginalized women in Guatemala, Kenya, Sierra Leone, and India to fund individual micro-enterprise projects. The team also provides the names and addresses of stamp donors to RSWR to add to its marketing database.

Team members can work at home and/or at the meetinghouse.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q - What kinds of stamps do we want?
A - We take new and used, US and foreign, old and new, postcards, albums.

Q - Can you really use used stamps?
A - Yes.

Q - Should I be cutting stamps off mail?
A - Yes, unless there are special markings on the envelope relating to the stamp. In that case, bring the entire envelope.

Q- Who do I give these to?
A - If you’re part of our Meeting, you can drop them in the box marked “RSWR Stamps” at the Donation Station in Fellowship Hall. If you’re local to our area, feel free to drop them by during office hours, Monday through Thursday, 10am-3pm at our church at 3030 Kessler Blvd E Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46220. Or mail them anytime to the address mentioned below!

We recommend leaving your name and contact details with your donation (especially if it is a large donation) so we know who has donated and we can contact you with any questions.
